NComputing: X-Series

With this model comes one PCI card, 5 devices in a box with software and mounting screws all included. The card is inserted in any of the expansion slots of a CPU. One PCI card will connect all the five devices to the monitors available. Each device uses 1 watt of power. A maximum of 2 cards can be installed in one CPU unit. The 5 devices are connected to the PCI card in the CPU with Ethernet cables of maximum length 10 meters. These devices do not have external power adaptors and so power will run along the connected Ethernet cable. No network switch is required since there will be direct connection between the devices attached to the monitor and the PCI card in the main CPU. However, networking is required between the CPUs.
